Oh wow! I have a couch that I purchased on Craigslist upholstered in that exact fabric - I adore it and we always call it my "dragon couch". LOVE that I now know the name of the fabric! You can see the couch in this blog post: http://www.thegatheredhome.com/2013/06/found-antique-bagues-style-brass-bamboo.html. It's definitely a little faded, but I love love love it!

ReplyDeleteLOVE it!!!! Simply GORGEOUS. I was only able to get a few yards of the fabric. I don't know the year, but I know it was quite awhile ago. The tag on the vintage piece was very dated. The brand is from England and they have amazing designs! Your sofa is FABULOUS! I'm thinking about framing a large 36" x 72" piece in a thick white laminate wood frame. I'm sure that would be stunning! So... much... fun!!!

Thank you! My mom thinks it is one hideous couch, but I just adore it! I need to find someone who can clean the upholstery well, because it has a few water/coffee stains from the previous owners - I'm hoping they can be removed, because now I definitely want to keep the sofa's original fabric :)
