Today's RED inspiration will be red lacquered items.

Nothing says sophisticated style like lacquer....

Well, maybe some things may say sophistication better.... but a good lacquered piece of decor is always divine!

Red Walls

Today in my Go RED spirit, I thought I would showcase RED walls.

Red is a bold choice for walls, but it can be done well. 

Here are just a few examples:

I love how a pattern is utilized to soften the look here.

Not all red has to be a bright bold red color. This is more of a rose color and it enables the use of magenta and pinks to soften the look. A quite romantic result!

That was my fashion sense.... and it worked quite well amongst the Red Sea of Dresses at the Luncheon.

Going Red

Today is National Wear Red Day!

I am wearing red to help support the fight against heart disease in women.

Heart disease is the #1 Killer of Women in America.
It kills more women than all the cancers combined!
